Beginning now for 2013 and 2014, HomeTown will be launching a series of critically important survival programs on several issues aimed at improving the claims processing and cash flow for rural hospitals. These will be extremely detailed programs designed to get “well into the weeds” of various initiatives coming down the pike. The first one is this ICD10 Survival Program. This is so important as to say that every hospital HAS to sign up and participate. The train is leaving the station Monday at 2 PM. AS CEOs and CFO’s your choice to have your hospital to participate may well save your hospital on October 1, 2014 when ICD10 goes live.

Again, it was pointed out and reiterated with major gusto by DCH at the Medicaid Fair at Gwinnet Center that this is an absolute go live on Oct 1 2014 and that it will take from now until then to insure that every hospital system is ready and capable of handling these expansion of codes. If your hospital is not ready, the payment of claims can stop altogether with no payments coming until the whole system is up and running AND the opportunity for retrospective recovery is nil. Failure to be ready can literally shut a hospital down.

Consequently this is THE program to participate in. Already the interest is unprecedented with the largest first day registration for a HomeTown webinar ever. That underscores the value of what you see in this program. So, make sure your hospital is signed up for Monday’s webinar. See the attached and have your hospital register.

Thanks,
Jimmy Lewis
